Head over to one of Austin’s staple museums, The Bob Bullock, for an evening of music and fun family events. The museum is open and free to the public during the show. This week’s guests include Austin’s Grupo Fantasma and special guest La Guerrilla. Blankets and chairs encouraged, no coolers please.

Austin radio station has been doing their Homegrown Live series for a rather long time and for a really good reason. With so many awesome Austin bands, they’ll never run out of great acts to showcase. While this happens more than for just a few months out of the year, we thought this week’s event is especially awesome! Join Wild Child, Marmalakes, Holiday Mountain, Danny Malone, and Taft at The Scoot Inn & Bier Garten. 21 and up enjoy great Texas Shiner, including Ruby Redbird, beers for $3.25 a pint.

The property was a gift from Charles and Angie Umlauf to the City of Austin, along with over 160 pieces from the artist. Charles wanted to make this “the people’s garden” and it has become just that. Thanks to generous donations that garden is Free to the public during June and throughout August.
