Make-A-Wish Central and South Texas help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Bring your family and watch as those who have raised enough earn the chance to rappel down 32 stories at One American Center. Last year, the foundation was able to grant more than 200 wishes. Make your mark and help the cause!

The Reynolds Number is an up-and-coming local band that you don’t want to miss. Having played gigs with other local bands, these guys are finally heading their own concerts. Check out the self-titled album released earlier this year and be part of their summer tour.

You might recognize Zooey Deschanel from the show “New Girl” and M. Ward is affiliated with so many music projects. ACL Live brings to the stage a great duo, She & Him, for the release of their third studio album. WIth fourteen songs, 11 of which are originals, the album is dynamic and complex and hosts some of the most interesting songs Deschanel has written to date. Don’t take it from us, treat yourself to this perfect concert before you have to go to work on Monday.
2013 AFM Fittest

Come to the 2nd Annual AFM FITTEST will be at Camp Mabry again this weekend! This is a community-wide event that focuses on health and fitness. A series of tests measure strength, endurance, balance, speed, precision, agility, and power. Come see if you’re one of the top ten fittest people in your age bracket.

The film stars Glenn Ford, Van Heflin, and Felicia Farr. It’s a story of two men trying to get a dangerous prisoner to a train while henchmen are out to kill the group. This film is part of a double feature, in which the 2007 remake will be played the same day. The ticket is good for both filmings!
