Music:
KLRU All-Star Celebration: The Dixie Chicks, Courtyard Hounds, Natalie Maines, and Ben Harper
Thursday, May 16th at 7pm
Join KLRU-TV and ACL Live for a night of music. This event features special performances by, The Dixie Chicks, The Court Yard Hounds, Natalie Maines, and Ben Haper. Performances also include, Joe Ely, Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis, Terry Allen, and Carolyn Wonderland & Terri Hendrix. This concert benefits KLRU-TV, Austin PBS, and Austin City Limits.

Gold Panda with Roger Sellers
Wednesday, May 15th at 9pm
Get ready to dance at Red 7 with this electronic mash-up. Gold Panda is currently touring to promote their album being released in early June. Roger Sellers opens up with his “folk-dance-americana-electric-symphonic fusion” where the only way to truly understand the sound is to come out and hear it this Wednesday night.

Trivia Nights:
“It’s Elementary, My Dear Watson” at Baker’s Street Pub
Tuesday, May 14th during evening Happy Hour
Head over to Baker’s Street Pub on S. Lamar this Tuesday and test your trivia skills! Grab some friends and treat yourself to some great grub and partake in Pint Night, which gets you discounts on select drafts.

Trivia Night at the Violet Crown Social Club
Wednesday, May 15th at 8pm
Out on East 6th to the Violet Crown Social Club which has reviewers on Yelp raving. From their cheap drinks and friendly staff to the adjoining food trailer, this place is sure to please. On Wednesdays they host trivia that will surely to get everyone involved. Visit their Facebook page for the weekly Bonus question!

Tech Adventures:
RISE Week Austin 2013
Monday-Friday, May 13th-17th
RISE Week hosts a combination of learning sessions, keynotes, competitions, funding opportunities, and networking events to help entrepreneurs at any step in the process. The events are completely free, so if you have some time, head to the website and see what you can attend. The closing bash features live music from none other than local Austin band, Suite 709 at Stage on Sixth.167806_135556916505016_4222164_n

Open Coffee Austin at Jones-Dilworth
Thursday, May 16th from 8:30am – 10:30am
Another great meet-up taking place this week is Open Coffee Austin which encourages, “Good coffee. Ideas. Entrepreneurs. Conversation.” This semi-monthly meeting gets entrepreneurs and investors into the same room to share experiences, explore ideas, and encourage collaboration. Check the site for the location which is dependent on the week the coffee takes place.
